Travel fee will vary depending on how far from the local
service area your move takes place.
This flat rate travel fee helps to defray the cost of getting the crew from
our office to the job site and back afterward. We do not double the
drive time within local service areas.
Time Starts / Stops
Within a "Local Service
Area"
Time starts when the crew arrives at the first location.
Time stops when
the truck is unloaded at the final location.
Moving Into or Out of a
"Local Service Area"
Moves starting outside
of a "Local Service Area":
Time starts when we leave the "Local Service Area" your move was
scheduled in.
Moves ending outside
of a "Local Service Area":
Time stops when we return to the "Local Service Area" your move was
scheduled in.
Service Includes
A confirmation sheet with your
rates, and the date and time your move is scheduled.
A confirmation call four days
before your move date to answer any last minute questions.
A follow-up phone call after your
move to make sure everything went well.
Your movers will be trained and
uniformed employees of One Big Man & One Big Truck.
A clean 24 foot or 16 foot truck,
50 quilted moving pads for your furniture, 5 wardrobe boxes for hanging
clothing, handcarts, dollies and plastic wrap.
